Sunshine!

The last few days have been so busy!

 - Wednesday, Jason and I officially became homeowners.

- Friday was ATP (Slayer/Sleep/The Melvins). I'm not sure I have fully recovered yet, Sleep were so loud and so awesome. We also went to the new The Photographer's Gallery to see Edward Burtynsky's 'Oil' exhibition. I'll be writing a bit more about it over on my photography blog: http://anotherjourneybytrain.blogspot.co.uk/

- Yesterday Jason and I spent the whole day gardening. I planted up some basil, mint, thyme, chives, parsley, courgettes and tomatoes. My poor mum was getting rid of weeds and brambles. Jason had the not so fun job of trying to clear out the pond, we found at least 3-4 frogs, our new cat friend was trying to hunt them down. We hope to get some fish once the pond has all been cleared out. The garden looks so much better already, but there is still so much work to be done. My cat friend also came back to visit, I think he/she will be a regular visitor! In the evening we went down to Botany Bay to hang out with some friends and make a fire.

- Today was spent chilling out in the garden drinking Pimm's with Rob and making a visit to the Turner Gallery to see Tracey Emin's new exhibition 'She Lay Down Deep Beneath The Sea', I'll also be writing a bit about that this week on my photography blog. Dan, Ej and Sub came over this evening and we took advantage of the amazing weather and Jamie did an awesome BBQ for us all. Now the Sunday night blues are setting, getting prepared to work in an office all week, at least I can see the sea from my desk and can take seaside walks at lunch with Nicki <3

Sorry for the image heavy post!

P.S I'm looking for recommendations for wedding catering companies in Kent, so if anyone knows of any, please let me know.

  1. Hey Emma, It's Sammi! :)

Did you see The Melvins? They are one of my favourite bands - please tell me they were amazing? I saw them last November and they freaking ruled, BUT I was really ill and couldn't enjoy them totally.

    Anyway, Hiii! xxx
