Wednesday

"Think about all the things you have, not the things you don't have." is the motto I'm living by at the moment (thanks Laura!) I definitely need to focus less on the things that I "need". Some things, however, are necessary, like buying fish for my pond at the weekend! I got home from work today to see that Jason and Sam (Jason's best friend and one of his best men) had done such an amazing job on our garden. Chopping down the trees has made a huge difference!

I'm pretty bummed out that I've had to cancel my tattoo appointment with Dan on Sunday. I just can't decide where to get it, work prevents me from getting it where I really want,  so I need to give it a bit more thought! I probably need to slow down a bit too.

I'm still trying to persuade Jason to let me have a schnauzer, a sausage dog is completely out of the question (sadly), but I have loved schnauzers since I can remember. Dogs that look like old men with beards are just the best.

Wedding stuff is going pretty slowly at the moment. We meet with the vicar next week, exciting! I need to find a catering company asap! Bridesmaids dresses and deciding on flowers are next on my list! I'm trying find fabrics to use for bunting. I need to get more into the spirit of wedding planning. It's all getting on top of me right now and I'm not at all being productive.

Some wedding inspiration from ruffled blog

Dan just told us that Jason once got winded by a bag of chips. This has made my evening.

P.S I apologise for my terrible writing, I hate re-reading anything I write (because I hate the way I write), therefore any mistakes will go unnoticed. Sorry!

  2. I'm really interested to see how your house progresses - good luck with it. A four-bedroom townhouse in the south, eh: I envy you! Part of the reason we had to move from London was the house prices... but maybe we should have moved to Kent, if purely for gorgeous fireplaces like yours!

My friends have a miniature schnauzer - he's beautiful and has a lovely personality. You should so get one! The only downside is he has a permanently wet beard though - a thing to remember if you want doggy kisses :)

  3. I'd love a schnauzer too but as we both work full time it isn't practical at the moment! I'd love a sausage dog too.
