In the last 3 months a lot has happened, and I think it's finally all catching up with me, I feel so exhausted all of the time at the moment. Although, I think part of that could be attributed to a bad diet. It's so hard to stay healthy and focused when the trolley lady comes past our desks twice a day, I need to avoid tempatation. Anyway, I digress.
This week has been particularly exhausting, not getting home until 11pm on Monday night really puts me out for the whole week when I have to get up at 6.30am everyday but Lindy Hop is still worth it, even if it is a 100 mile round trip!! Last Monday was our Lindy Hop summer party, social dances aren't my forte´ at the moment, I still have a lot I need to learn, but I think they are the best way to get experience and to put everything into practice.
On Friday night Jason and I went to see Ross, Emmi and their beautiful baby boy, Sebastian. It was great to have a catch up and a little cuddle with baby Sebastian.
Yesterday morning we went to Jason's nan's for an all American breakfast for his dad's birthday. It was amazing, I ate 6 pancakes, which didn't even come close to Jason's 12! We stuck about for a while, listening to crazy family stories before we took a trip to Pets at Home to get some stuff for Buckley when we pick him up in just under 3 weeks!
Last night I had a photography job, not the usual thing I like to do but it pays toward decorating the house or for our little pup. It was for a distant relative's 25th wedding anniversary party at Hythe Imperial, it was actually great fun and I caught with some family that I haven't seen in a while, that I wish I could see more often.

Today was mostly spent at home, starting to edit 500 photos and working towards making our house and garden puppy proof. Nate popped in this morning for a quick cuppa and Jason and I went and had lunch in Margate Old Town at The Greedy Cow (amazing as always). The guy sitting on the table next to us was straight out of Spinal Tap, it was incredible. I managed to get a sneaky photo of him as he left.
I also went for my first ride on my new bike, at last!! Whenever I mention the words 'bike ride' to Jason it always rains, so we have a code word for it now. I really hate riding on the road, I'm such a wimp, but I love my new bike and it's so good to ride. We got back just in time before the heavens opened.
I've also recently realised how preoccupied I've been lately and how much I miss working on projects. I've got a couple in the pipeline and one of which I've started researching and bought a couple of books for, I'm pretty excited about it, I just need to get my butt into gear. I probably be writing about it at some point over on my photography blog.
I also made a camera strap for my Olympus, it's taken a battering and the light meter has broken so I have to guess exposure, but I just like to have it on me, and now I can with my super hardy garden twine strap. I hope it doesn't fail me!
Apologies for the mega long and yawn inspiring post!
