Schnauzer Puppy!

This weekend has been the best in a long time.
On Friday night Jason and I went to Heathfield to see the Schnauzer puppies. I instantly fell in love with the smallest puppy, who we will be bringing home on Friday 24th August. He will be called Buckley, after the dog from The Royal Tenenbaums. We are so excited, and now it's all definite I can start preparing!

After we visited the puppies we went to my grandparent's house to stay the night before driving back to Margate in the morning. Their garden is so amazing, I got up at 7am on Saturday morning to make the most of it. The garden backs onto fields but in between is a stream, I saw mother duck and her chicks, so cute!!

After driving back to Margate I drove to Tenterden to see Ellie. We went to Rye, and got ourselves some bargains from the junk/antique shops. I got everything in the picture below for £3.60!! Later on in the evening we went to Prezzo and walked Max, Ellie's Jack Russell puppy. He is so cute and so well behaved!

This morning we went to a boot fair in Biddenden, I haven't been to one for years, I forgot how good they can be. I got all this for £10.

I've put my old Victorian man up already, in our newly decorated breakfast room! Painting the room and pulling up the carpet so it's just bare floorboards has made such a dramatic difference. It looks so much better. I can't wait to get going on the rest of the house. I was feeling a bit down for a while about making it seem like it's our home, but just getting started on this has made me feel so much better!
